Scott Dercks is a professional musician currently based in NE Wisconsin. He started playing professionally in 1972, and has continued unabated since. He has played throughout the continental United States, as well as in Hawaii and Mexico.
Scott has played for the widest possible range of audiences. From small intimate gatherings to concerts in front of tens of thousands, from the homeless to the President of the United States, from children’s shows to retirement homes.
Scott’s preferred musical genres are just as varied. From rock and blues, to funk and R+B, to all flavors of Jazz and Latin (Bossa Nova/Samba) to a wide range of “ethnic” music. He has played it all.
If you need a versatile, experienced and professional guitarist for your event, production or studio recording, you have come to the right place.
Currently, besides my group endeavors, I play solo guitar for private events, fine establishments, concerts and festivals. I specialize in weddings, memorial services, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, Holiday parties, wineries/breweries and fine restaurants. I make a point of being “personally vested” in every engagement I play. I get my greatest satisfaction knowing I have made someone’s special day unforgettable.
I am always honored when I get notes from my clients, concerning my performance.

Thank you so much for doing such a great job!! Great to connect again!!” Aug ’22 (I played for this woman’s son’s wedding a number of years ago. Sadly her husband passed, but she found new love and told me there was no one she wanted to play her wedding more than me. I was so honored.)
